And for many more, even in the "first world", they are a thing of the presentas well.

The fastest I've ever seen at my house is 2.8 megabits per second.
I can pay extra and use my cellular connectivity for selected downloads.
Can't get cable.
Can't get FiOS.
Not impressed with what satellite internet offers.
