You are welcome. The new Apple TV Remote seems easier to use than the old Remote app. I found it easier to get it pared to the unit. It seems to run smoother also.

Interesting.  I'd not noticed any difference.  I went to the App Store and found no recent updates.  Then I discovered that there are now *two* apps called "Remote" - iTunes Remote (the only one I've ever used) and Apple TV Remote.  The latter is apparently brand new:  version 1.0 is dated 2016 Aug 1.
