Gotta renew my visa. I'll be hitting Ometepe island for a few days in lake Nicaragua. For those of you familiar the Chinese want to put a canal in lake Nicaragua connecting the pacific with the Atlantic. Right south of Ometepe island which is made of two volcanoes seize rated only by a strip of sand. This canal would ruin this lake.
