It's been a very very long time since news was information, in 1991 when my then spouse was communications degree from the acclaimed Edward r Murrow communications dept at WSU her professors were saying it had been "infotainment" not entertainment or information for a long time and at that time I concurred.

All sensor based reading may eventually be affected.
Optical because of opacity of tattoo ink.
Electromagnetic ( I do not know if there are or will be any ) because of conductivity of metals in some colours of ink.

Is there any suggestion that anything besides the heart rate monitor doesn't work with wrist tattoos?
