It's not a hotrod, just a cheaper iMac, built by Microcenter.
The iMac would have been nicer - prettier, quieter, and a lot smaller - but one manages one's budget as one must, alas. For similar reasons, I have an Accord, and not a BMW 😎

Sure does. You didn't want a Porsche. Instead you built a hot rod.~KLMI don't know if the market has changed, but when the "5k" iMac came out, there was only one monitor easily available with the same resolution, and it cost the same as the iMac did. But came without any attached computer, keyboard, or mouse. So I am curious what CPU, what graphics processor, what monitor you used in your "hot rod"?Also RAM and storage choices?(The iMac has a 27-inch 5K display with IPS technology; 5120-by-2880 resolution with support for millions of colors).
