I'd be surprised if the info came from Apple. Sounds more like click bait to me. Why would the company waste time on such an unnecessary project? I can see Apple promoting iPad as a great tool for seniors highlighting specially targeted apps. But building a whole new device just to limit its usefulness? That would be strange, indeed. Guess we'll see.
