Or if the untouched photo is in iPhoto, I can copy and delete from iPhoto?

Why oh why though can I connect my iPhone to my old Win 7 laptop, and see the Camera Roll, but on my rMBP I cannot???? Weird, and annoying as I like to easily copy them for backup
