Chances are. If you were happy with an iPad 1 that you'd be happy with an iPad 2. I'm very happy with mine. Others would argue that they ipad3 is better because of the display. Personally. I'd get an iPad air if I could. That said, my iPad 2 suits me well. And has been used Almost every single day since I got it.

I need a replacement for my stolen iPad1. Other than it's lack of software upgradability (it would not go past iOS 5), I was very content with it. I have some familiarity with iPad2 as my son uses one. My understanding is that there were 4 iPad versions/generations before the current new iPad Air. Do you group members know of the basic differences between the iPad1-4 generations (or of another source, perhaps a table or list) to aid me in deciding which to purchase? Also, any suggestions about where to look for the best price would be much appreciated. I may not necessarily need the latest version, and I need it to be as inexpensive as possible.
Thanks,
Dick Johnson
