> I have a second generation iPad that I just upgraded to iOS 7. My battery now goes dead in about 12 hours or less while it is in sleep mode (not being used). Prior to iOS 7 I could use it all weekend long and still have lots of battery power left. Now it goes dead setting overnight. What is going on, and how do I stop the battery drainage? I have turned off Locations and Notifications and it still dies.
The simplest thing to try is to slide up the Control Center and turn on Airplane Mode when you go to bed. That will prevent ANY online activity whatsoever until you turn Airplane Mode off in the morning. Try it and tell us whether the batter drains much during the night.
Myself, I use the nighttime to recharge my iPhone and iPad — they are plugged in while I'm asleep.
