I keep my iPad1 in a Targus Truss case. This has the capability to be
folded over into a stand (in landscape mode) on a table or dashboard.
But what I do is to simply fold the cover back and prop it over my
steering wheel while I'm waiting in a parking lot, and it holds the iPad
in such a way that I can type with both hands, read, play games, whatever.
It isn't a permanent attachment, but since I'm not using it while
driving it doesn't matter.
