That's the way I've been doing t, edit, select a bunch and delete but sure takes a long time it you've got a thousand. Once these messages are read are they automatically removed after a month? A year? Seems to me there should be that option in the prefs>settings,

Will they automatically be deleted after awhile? If not how do I get rid of them. They are marked as read.
