I went in and deleted Cache and cookies and a lot of texts that were old… Deleted my email accounts and added them again. Only cleared 38 MB of "Other". I'm not starved for space so I'll deal for now, probably do a full "Restore" and do like you did mid summer.

What causes mine? iTunes was deciding to duplicate my tracks in a hidden way. 

How did I fix it? I deleted my library and recreated it and ever since my other stays at about ten percent of my total data. 

What's causing yours? I dunno.
