I have it on my Mac. It's not legal in my country unless it's for movies you own which usually aren't the ones that popcorn time has readily available.

Your movies will stay buried in a temporary folder somewhere on your drive until you restart your computer. Then it will be gone for good. You can choose to keep the downloaded files in the settings.
