My take is a little different. I've subscribed to Rhapsody for a long time & also buy several albums each year. The ability to listen to an entire album before I decide to buy has saved me several $$ over the years. When I don't like the whole album I either buy the tracks I do like or skip it altogether. I wouldn't be able to decide with as much certainty by only listening to short previews.
