The next time this happens, can you not do anything, but try later? Email is not guaranteed, issues happen. If you tried later, and it was fine, that will indicate a server/system issue at their end

Every now and again my emails go lala. Happened this evening, I tried to download new messages and got this:
Cannot get Mail
The mail server "imap.blueyonder.co.uk" is not responding. Verify that you have entered the correct account info in Mail settings.
I can however send messages.
To get round this I go to settings/Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Add Account, Other, and enter the details for my other blueyonder email address. (I have three and whichever one messages are sent to, they always get to me). If I then open the Mail app it shows my two accounts/email addys.. If I click on the folders for the newly created account the emails that were in the original account download fine. To get back to square one I delete the account for the original, then create it again.
Hope this makes sense – any ideas?
