Open the App Store app on your iPad & look on the bottom row for the Purchased tab. Tap that & it will show all of the apps that you have ever downloaded as long as they are still available in the store. You can then tap the little cloud icon to download any item that you might want to reinstall.

I am having a terrible time trying to find apps for my iPad that I have previously downloaded and deleted. It used to be when I connected the iPad to iTunes, my previously deleted apps would show up on the left side of the screen where it shows my current apps. At that point I could decide if I wanted to re-install apps I have previously deleted. I asked at the iTunes forum and nothing they told me worked, and I understand they are supposed to be "in iCloud". I guess I don't know to use iCloud either, as I can't find them there! How frustrating. I hate iTunes ... (whine, whine). Can anyone help me?
