You might take a look at Gazelle to see if they will offer anything for it.  Sorry for the accident, but he'll sure like his new Air2 lots better!

My husband has an iPad 3rd generation that he just dropped. The screen is shattered. We are thinking of buying a new one (iPad Air 2). Is there anything we can do with the old one? It's fully functional except the screen is shattered. Does anyone buy them,to refurbish and resell?
