Re: [iPad] AppleCare for iPad Mini?

And because Pat has convinced me of the wisdom of getting Apple Care, I agree with Ted, too, because no matter how careful we are,  accidents will happen.  I have Apple Care for my Apple Watch--the first time I have gotten Apple Care--and it really does give me a good feeling, knowing that my watch is protected, should something unforeseen happen.

I haven't needed AppleCare on any device (3 iPads/2 iPhones/1 Apple Watch) because I'm very careful and Apple builds quality hardware. That doesn't stop me from safeguarding against an accident or issue with my devices. I buy AppleCare every single time. It's part of the purchase price to me.

Pros: It covers you for an extra 1.75 years of phone support and an extra year of service for only $99.
Cons: You're only covered for 2 incidents of accidental damage. The deductible is $49.
