My husband was on Facebook when a warning appeared on his iPhone 7 Plus: "This Apple iPhone is infected with viruses and your browser is seriously damaged. You need to remove viruses and make corrections immediately. It is necessary to remove and fix now. Don't close this window. ** If you leave, you will be blocked. **"
From www. Iticarop.info Warning!

So he immediately got out of it and reset the phone.

Is this real? Did he accidentally pick up something on FB? Is there a way to check?

Thanks,
Carol
