[iPad] iPad and Facebook

Today I started being deluged with "Suggested Posts" on my Facebook page, but ONLY when I'm accessing it with my iPad Pro 9.7.  Is anyone else experiencing this?  I click "Hide" the post, then choose to not receive any more notifications from the company who posted the message.  It's getting really irritating.

I've tried adjusting my FB preferences when on my iPad, but am not having much success.

Not having similar issues when accessing FB on my iMac.

Befuddled.

if I remember correctly it's timeout. And you can erase it as an option. Meh. Weird.

Because it's been flaky lately, Jerry. At first, I thought it was Apple
mail, but looking a little deeper, the signs pointed to gmail. Stuff's
simply gone missing. File it, and, now and then, it disappears.
Looking on the server, it's still gone. The culprit's not Apple. That
should *never* happen. It appears similar stuff's happened to other
folk. It looks as though google is hiding behind the fact that it's
free to get careless. That's bad.

If you depend on email, you can't trust it to a company that doesn't
care about getting it right 99.999% of the time. I'm retired, so email
reliability isn't critical, but, still, I don't want to have to start
spending time taking backup measures just in case my mail provider's
likely to lose stuff now and then.

I've used iCloud mail with no problems that come to mind for about 10 years.  I also use Yahoo mail for online shopping, etc.

[iPad] missing mail, crashes

I've been having a very occasional problem with Apple mail on the iPhone. I'll save messages to a folder, but when I look for them there, they're missing. In one instance, search found them, but they still weren't in the folder to which I'd saved them. A few minutes later, they showed up.

Problem appeared again just now. The messages in question are still missing.

I've also had a few program crashes - Audible, mail, maybe one or two others. Seems to me that they started shortly after recent updates, but I'd not swear to that.
