The problem with trying to log in with the old email address is that I haven't a clue what my password was! It doesn't work with my current one of course. I did find, in an old notebook, a former password for that account but it must have expired because that did not work either. I may have to make an appointment with the Genius Bar at our nearest Apple Store, which is not too far.
