Didn't profit drop in the quarter? So the stock price reflects doubt that profits will continue rising  even if profits dropped the asset value per share still increases. But asset value is only one metric. Potential is a key metric .

That's nuts. If Apple makes more than last quarter, but it's not as much as predicted stockholders get scared, sell their stock and stock value goes down, correct? I always thought a company's stock went up due to the company making more money than they did the quarter before.
