Re: [iPad] Poynter and Business Insider on AAPL

My 6+ seems fully fast enough.  No reason to upgrade yet.  Maybe in a year or two.

Even if I could have upgraded every year, I going think I would have. I don't see the s models as significant enough to upgrade every year. I'll be able to upgrade this year but don't know if I see Wilkinson. Depends on the upgrades. I'm thinking about waiting until next year and are I'd Apple Willi do something special for the iPhones 10th anniversary.

Most are not "annual upgraders". The majority of users for smartphones are "bi-annual upgraders". Their contract run 2 years so they upgrade every 2 years.

Yes there are some geeks out there who upgrade annually, and some people who need to have the latest & greatest, but they are a very small percentage of actual users.

However, they usually happen to be loud.

Many however are annual upgraders, but with the diminishing returns on the capability, it is hard to justify.

I never go model to model. I try for 3-4 years. A grand is hard to justify every year.  Every four years I can justify the expense.

There haste been any miracles, there has been nice, steady feature gains, hence why I bought every phone since the 4S. Right now, there is little to be had by upgrading my 6Plus to a 6S Plus and probably wont bother with a 7. Thats just me, but Im not alone. That applies to any smartphone, they are all good, and the next one will be a little bit better, but it becomes hard to justify.

If you believe miracles should appear by the clock, or even the calendar, then sure.

If you think technology doesn't actually work that way, then you just use the last miracle and wait patiently for the next.
