I would consider calling Apple Support about the reauthorize issue since the call will be free for 90 days as it's related to a software update. I wouldn't want to 'waste' an authorization!

AND I can play them in iTunes as usual. What has changed it on the iDevices, there they have to play on the App. So it looks like I was having a meltdown for no reason. Now, I'm pretty sure the iTunes books will not sync with my iDevices and I'll have to go to the Audible library and "send" the file to my device. I'm not totally sure of that but we'll see. There is one broken item. I cannot deauthorize a computer. I get a message telling me to take action on the Audible site. The deauthorize or authorize command is in iTunes>Accounts not Audible.Anyway apologies to the list for my rant.If you download the Audible books onto your computer, you can open up iTunes and drag them into iTunes.SandraSent from my iPad Can't you just drag the Audible books into iBooks through iTunes?SandraSent from my iPad Please let us know if it works. I've used that program for years with excellent success.Pat

We are forced to either stream on the audible website or download to iDevices. We have to use that audible app which I thought was so bad. Perhaps they have improved it.I'm very bummed. The iBook prices are terrible high. I have a platinum account with audible and have for ten or more years. I never pay more than ten dollars a book. The first book I looked at in iBooks was $29.95!latest photos at http://www.flickr.com/terrypogue
