That is my plan. I have removed the Music app from my dock on my iPads and put the audible app there.
I see the writing on the wall, we are being moved from owning material to streaming. I hate that. I like having my books, movies and tv shows on my RAID drives so I can get to them when I want. With streaming, if the power is out or my internet down I'm screwed. Plus, iTunes does not have anything you "own" in their Cloud for you to download IF they have stopped selling it in iTunes. (That's in the small print) On iPads or other iDevices you are especially controlled since the iDevices don't hold all that much. I always buy the largest iDevice that is available but it's still not going to hold as many tv shows as you might want. So I'm going to find a way to change aax files to a format I can have some control over,

I'd give the Audible app another try.
TedSent from my iPad AirIBooks will not import audible files. We are forced to either stream on the audible website or download to iDevices. We have to use that audible app which I thought was so bad. Perhaps they have improved it.I'm very bummed. The iBook prices are terrible high. I have a platinum account with audible and have for ten or more years. I never pay more than ten dollars a book. The first book I looked at in iBooks was $29.95!latest photos at http://www.flickr.com/terrypogue
