We have several paid services here and, as far as I know, Spotify is the leader in free service. I pay $10 per month for Rhapsody.

I'm like Kris,I got my own music, I do feel the new Apple Music is cool, but not US$10 cool. But I will try it. I'm keen to give it a whirlWhat's compettion like for it in the US?. Here in NZ, at the telco I work for, Spotify premium is free on a $59 mobile plan and up, although also on a non advertised $29 plan that we recently soft launched. Spotify here is NZ$12.99 per month. I gather both are very similar. But for kids and adults to get it free is a biggie

I have about 6000 tracks I in my own library, but have enjoyed having a subscription service (I've used Rhapsody for years) to have access to a more diverse selection of genres & playing tunes that I only want to hear occasionally. The money the service has saved me by allowing a listen before I buy a CD has more than paid for itself. I like Apple Music very much & plan to continue subscribing. Moving my Rhapsody playlists will be a project!Pat
Sent from my iPad Air2Honestly the curated playlists are cool. But not $10 a month cool. I have a huge collection of music. I think stuff like this is for ppl without a collection of music. If that were my case I'd consider it.
