Probably about there, yes.  I can live with it.  One adapts.  Just annoying.

Good to know about the itunes problem - thanks - though I ran out of disk space at about 5000 tracks (wav), so it's not likely to be a problem soon :o)

This stuff is changing so fast.  Really nice, but it seems never to settle down.  In this environment, Apple has an advantage, maybe, because they do the debugging for you.  When you plug it in, it just works, pretty much.

and you annotate alot and you say maybe page 7-800 or so of that book the app (ibooks?) gets sluggush? have you been to apple forums, do you want to delve into more details. it took itunes and iphoto a rev or4 two to get large file number capabilities, itunes still has limitations in this regards in the 125,000 file range
