There are so many iPhone 7s going out its hard to say. Could be anything.  I usually grab one from a store a few weeks out. But with my 6+ I ordered from Apple to him house. If i remember correctly it arrived appx on time. Perhaps there is weather causing delays. Ask your store if they have gotten any.

On Sept. 29 I was notified by UPS that my rose gold iPhone 7 Plus had its label on it, was ready for pickup, and would arrive at my carrier's store on 10/3 by end of day. So in the afternoon, driving by anyway, I stopped in, but it wasn't there. No problem.
Meanwhile, I received a notice that my husband's basic black 7 Plus had its label on it and would be delivered 10/5.
Today when I called up my UPS account, it still just says my phone has its label on it and is awaiting pickup, but my husband's phone is in Dallas and ready to board a flight to Florida. Delivery on schedule.
So I am officially miffed that my phone is still sitting on the loading dock, forgotten, unloved, maybe to be picked at by birds or peed on by squirrels. (Joke)
No idea when I will get mine, but my husband's phone will be on time. And he wasn't even going to bother getting one. He only did because the AT&T deal was too good to pass up.
Sigh!
