I agree with that. Force is particularly useless when dealing with cats. Training can work, but you have to know how to work with cats. Among other things you have to use their own natural inclinations and desires in training them, and you have to be as intelligent as they are or, better, a bit more so! It's not easy for us humans! Btw, the clicker method can also work with cats if you understand how to use it.
