I'm wondering if anyone else has this experience on their iPad?. I have a Yahoo mail account, and I access it via the website, not Mail. It takes a really long time to load up. I have to close the app when I finish reading the new emails. If the app is open, and I click on it on the homepage, it sort of freezes and won't download any new emails. Trying to search for something in former emails is pretty lame. I get a lot of emails from companies I have done business with in the past. Many I have no current interest in, so the first thing I do is click on all of those and then on delete. Deleting those emails can take up to a minute or more. The whole experience is very frustrating but I use this address mainly for businesses, bills I need to pay, commerce, etc. so trying to delete it and start fresh with another email service would be a pain.
The strange part is that the same app works perfectly on both my iPhone 6S+ and on my iMac. Downloads quickly, opens emails quickly, deletes them quickly, etc.I've tried doing the reboot, shutting down and re-opening the iPad... Nothing so far has worked. If anyone has any suggestions I'd love to hear them.JoanB
