Sometimes when I am working on my iPad Air 2 (128 GB) I find that the number key in the bottom left of the keyboard does not work and I have to move to a horizontal plane to type a number. That sounds like a hardware issue, and it is still under AppleCare.
Before I drive the long distance to an Apple Store, could it be anything else? I have done a full shutdown and also a hard reset. It doesn't do it always, maybe once every few days, but always when I am in the middle of something and often enough to be annoying.
Thoughts?
Carol
Do you mean rotate the iPad between portrait and landscape modes?
Or do you mean physically laying it flat, as on a tabletop, when it wasn't before?
Have you tried the Home+On/Off button, hold until you see the Apple, reboot yet?
