Where I'm living both waterproof and shock resistant are not bland features. To each their own.

Your probably right but those three features are pretty bland.

Gorilla glass 5 and waterproofing and complete wireless are next. IMO. But those things will be increasing the lifespan of the products. Not shortening them.
