Re: [iPad] winning the lottery

Is it currently using Bluetooth 2 or 3? Your current iPhone I think is only the older Bluetooth

Bose has no choice but to be on the Bluetooth bandwagon.

In a Bose store the other day, I compared their new Bluetooth NC headset with their old wired NC headset.  In that direct comparison, the Bluetooth sounded simply awful.   But I suppose someone listening only to the Bluetooth, not doing an A-B, might be impressed.

Bluetooth technology is now in its 3rd version.
Even Bose uses it for new noise cancelling wireless headphones.

Oh, I don't care what they do physically, so long as they don't go Bluetooth-wireless only.  Even Jim concedes (?) that Bluetooth is a poor-sounding kludge.

When they get rid of the antiquated 3.5mm headphone jack and replace it with more current and better functionally lightning cable plus Bluetooth combination along with better waterproofing I'll be happy. To each their own I guess.

If they get rid of the audio plug in the new iPhone, I'll take that as a sign they're no longer committed to high quality.
