Most likely I misunderstood the situation. You will need an adapter for the card to fit into the USB excuse me the lightning cable so a flash card to lightning cable adapter thingy from the Apple store? Perhaps.

Kris...not quite understanding the wifi and dropbox suggestions.
How would they help me get the photos off of the memory card in my digital camera on to my iPad Pro? What am I missing?
