Re: [iPad] Re: How to "Downgrade" to Earlier Operating System?

In Gmail, you can set your email to be saved on the server or deleted when read.  I am thinking that other services should have similar options.  Also, ensure it is set to IMAP.

Perhaps Verizon isn't IMAP. because all my mail from Google and Apple sync perfectly. I delete from iPhone it deletes on my Mac and iPad and etc.

Try putting the Verizon email into the email app.

My email has been syncing perfectly since the late 90s on Apple Mac and personal servers and more recently since 2008 on my iOS devices. I only occasionally use gmail on a web browser ( windows and Mac and iOS) and it always synchronized like it should. Never had an issue since my last provider switched to imap in the late 90s or early 00s

I do not use "Mail."  Among other problems, it does not sync with my computer (Mac).  If I delete a message on one device, it is not deleted on the other.
