Once it's opened on the screen select open in iBooks and see if that fixes the issue.

Yes. That is the first thing I did.
After force quitting the iBooks, when I open the iBooks, it is still on that page.

Only after that did I reboot twice but still that problem.

Earlier I had this problem with an app called Documents. They had upgraded the app and it stopped working on iOS 9 ( yes, I am still on iOS 9 since my iPad 2 does not upgrade beyond that). While developing the revised version, the software company forgot that there could be persons using that app with iOS 9 and hence the app became unusable. I contacted the company and all they could do was to apologise. That must be the only app in entire AppStore which got zero rating since by deleting the app, I lost all associated data.

In case of iBooks, deleting does not appear as an option.

With best wishes,
Pabitra

I have rebooted my iPad more than two times but no success.

What are the other options?

Re: [iPad] Cannot Get Mail

Trya reset network settings or reset all settings and see if that helps. But maybe first delete the email

Account in question and add itback again and see if that helps.

I am on vacation in Europe with my iPad. Although I can use Safari, I cannot either get or send mail.

When I try to get mail I get this message after what seems ages: Cannot Get Mail  The mail server "pop-server.wi.rr.com" is not responding. Verify that you have entered the correct account info in Mail settings.

I have not changed any settings and don't see why there should be problems on this trip, but not on other trips.

I have powered off and restarted, force quit, tried again at other times and days. Nothing works. My husband is receiving emails on his account successfully (this is his account), so the wifi is fine. I have installed 10.3.3.

Any suggestions?
