Here's a link to help you restore your iPad. Once you're done, you might need to download iOS 10.
When you talk about your niece using your iTunes account, that's called family sharing. Once you get your iPad back to like new, follow these instructions to turn on family share.
I have an iPad Air 1 and would like to give it to my niece. I want to reset it so that she will start off with a clean slate, so to speak, but I want her to be able to use my iTunes and iCloud accounts. Is this possible? Also, if I reset it, will IOS 10 still be on it or will it go back to the original IOS version? I apologize if these questions have been answered before. I searched but couldn't find anything.
Thanks,
Raymia
