Re: [iPad] Re: Want to use this keyboard with my Mom 12.9" iPad Pro via Bluetooth reciever

Dragging her palm will not be a problem with the Apple Pencil since the system has palm-rejection built-in.

Thanks.

I will go with a Big Keyboard bluetooth option if I fail on this quest.

I hope she can use the Apple Pen. Touch screens even big ones are hard on her because she tends to drag her thumb/palm get on screen as she tries to touch it. That is why for e-reading I switched her from Kindle Paper White to Voyager because she kept accidentally triggering menus and switching books while reading on KIndle PW. With voyager she focuses on side buttons and fingers not on screen.

She still does yard work and house work (despite brain freezes and falls) to keep active since heart needs activity and her brain is super active but lifting things is hard so of course I am experimenting with different stands (and custom built trays and tables) so she can use iPad and still have some space beneath for paperwork, food, drink cup, etc. She spends a lot of time in chair watching TV when bored the iPad will give her an even better thing (communicating with relatives of all ages, Skype and LINE with grandkids in Tokyo, gmail, web browsing, Facebook, online banking, calling Uber) to learn and occupy her bored mind. Maybe she can even get the books written she wants to write. And ocassionally take pictures and videos with it (she loves pictures) and record some family stories.

I am focusing on her learning this before she gets bedridden or in nursing home so she will be able to fully use it and know it well so not be horribly bored when that happens. Her mind is very active.
