Re: [iPad] iOS 10 - long wait, mail gripes, irritating key clicks

It so depends on the senior. My husband is 87 but he would never be able to use an iPhone. When he was working he was CEO of a large ad agency (sold to Monster.com) and his people kept trying to get him to use a computer. He complained about screen size so they brought him the largest one available. They set it up with a screen saver. After a few days he threw his coat over it and went on with his IBM Selectric.
After he sold the company and was home I eased him into using the internet showing him how he could find others that shared his passion. He is and has been a major audiophile.  Now I am his tech support when anything happens on his computer. ANYTHNG. I finally convinced him he really needed a cell phone. He hates it and got a jitterbug which is ok as long as I convince him to turn it on.  Once he drove around looking for a pay phone because he couldn't find an address.
I expect delivery of the new iPhone 7 + tomorrow. And since my husband is 87 you know I'm not much younger. <g>
I'm waiting for my new iPhone while he is awaiting a pre-amp he had modified.

Look at the Apple ads on TV, look at the keynotes. Do you see our hear about anything for us older folks? No. It use to be new features could be turned off so that one can go back to the way they like things. Not so in mail.

I can see why seniors new to Apple, like my Dad, have problems learning it.

Seems Apple is forgetting all about us seniors and soon to be seniors. How many of us older folks will be using stickers 1-2 months from now?

I have no use for them; I haven't downloaded any.

But I have no objection to their availability for those who are 50-60 years younger and desire them.

In what way am I being forgotten about?
