> Call me crazy, but wouldn't being able to block video be far more useful to law breakers than police? Imagine how welcome such a feature would be to burglars, muggers, gangbangers (of all races, religions and creeds) etc. deciding to rob, take out the opposition, etc. to be able to blind surveillance cameras in and around stores, bars, offices, etc. as well as cell phones so they could conduct business without the possibility of being recorded?
It seems HIGHLY unlikely that any fixed surveillance cameras, or police body cams, would be using iPhones … or any other smartphone … and would NOT have the required technology built-in to block recording.
This is not some magic wand that somehow prevents video cameras from operating.
