[iPad] Re: Will Apple's New Patent Push Delete on Ability to Record Police?

Mainly I was just kidding. After all, precious few robberies, drive-bys, muggings, random shootings, etc. are filmed by cell-phone wielding bystanders. Probably because the perps would take serious exception and blast the guy with the camera -- something cops are far less likely to do.

I wonder if some enterprising, young electronics geek hasn't come up with a device that could disable video cameras from a distance? Wouldn't that be welcomed by criminals and wannabes! But I suppose rocks, spray paint or a sling shot is a cheaper if less cool alternative. 😎

Imagine how welcome such a feature would be to burglars, muggers, gangbangers (of all races, religions and creeds) etc. deciding to rob, take out the opposition, etc. to be able to blind surveillance cameras in and around stores, bars, offices, etc. as well as cell phones so they could conduct business without the possibility of being recorded?
