Re: [iPad] New User Question

My hair stylists were looking at my iPad today, and they don't have a computer.  I could always use my netbook when a new OS comes out to upgrade them.

Thanks.

Absolutely.  She won't need a computer with a grown-up OS unless she wants to sync, and that's never *necessary*, unless she wants to upgrade the OS.  You can do that for her.  I almost never sync.

I have an aging (late sixties) family member visiting for the holiday who is enthralled with my iPad. She lives at a distance from me & I'm wondering if there is any way a person could maintain an iPad if they don't own a computer. Any ideas? She seemed to catch on to using the iPad very quickly. Thanks for any suggestions.
