I purchase plenty of apps on my ipad or iphone. I only sync with my computer once every week or two. But you are right, I don't think that you can upgrade without a computer.

Of course she can go to a free wireless location (star bucks, public library, etc) and purchase apps online. Can you provide call in support?
Sent from David's iPadI have an aging (late sixties) family member visiting for the holiday who is enthralled with my iPad. She lives at a distance from me & I'm wondering if there is any way a person could maintain an iPad if they don't own a computer. Any ideas? She seemed to catch on to using the iPad very quickly. Thanks for any suggestions.
