You can plug your iphone into your computer and download the pictures.  I do this every month. 
 
Plug it in and then click on my computer and scroll down and look for your iphone.  Click on it and you will see a file called  DCIM and then sub folders - these are all of your pictures.  Just copy the DCIM folder to a folder on your computer.
