This keyboard is driving me up a wall.  Someone should have told the kiddies at Apple that you really should not mess with something that basic, that standard.

I downloaded and installed, and mostly use, the PadKeys keyboard, so I usually don't notice anything different with the native iPad keyboard.

On the other hand, when I am using the native one, I *still* don't notice much difference from what I was used to.
