Somehow, a virus game got on here. The game has been deleted from my
Itunes account now.

All my icons in the dock disappeared. The ones that re apps, I can
put back, but I have lost the Safari, Mail, and IPod icons as well. I
can access these by doing a search each time, but that is mighty
inconvenient. Any ideas as to how to get the icons back?

[iPad] Re: Web clip for Evernote

I went to Evernote's support page to send an inquiry.  After I filled out the form and tried to send it in, I got a pop-up note saying I need Safari Webclipper to send it.  Catch 22.  Got to love it.

I was pleasantly surprised that it did not take that long to transfer all the photos – maybe 10 -15 minutes.  I haven’t even started with the organization <smile>.  All the photos were a play by play of our month in Switzerland and France, so should have fun reliving the moments.  I suspect 50% or more will wind up in the trash, but I’ll have fun along the way.

I have W7 on my laptop but there are so many features I prefer on XP computer that I haven’t upgraded yet.

Been impressed on how helpful everyone on the list has been – sincerely appreciate it!

I kept having to look up how to do it (since W7 doesn't have that nice
import-wizard) before I actually wrote a crib sheet; I'm *beginning* to
remember w/o having to check my notes! XP wizard was *so much easier!*

How long did it take for the import?
And how long will it take you to "organize" them? :-)

Re: [iPad] Web clip for Evernote

I use Evernote, love the program!  Right now I don't think there is an actual Evernote clipper according to a post I read on an Evernote forum:

Apple doesn't give us any way to install a clipper into the iPad Safari browser, so there's no easy way to get clipping to work on the device.

There is a work around that I have used.  A bit clunky/slow but it works.

One end goes in the iPad and one the tv. If it's the right tv and or connector.
