Re: [iPad] iPad addiction and withdrawal - why Apple's tablet dominatesAppleTell

I agree.  I didn't buy it for that.  That would require pure sine.  Price goes up.  I was running small aquarium air pumps.  Five of them.  I moved a 40 gallon saltwater reef tank to Arizona and back a year later.  Moved the fish in five gallon buckets.  Cured rock doesn't need air for two days.

For $34, it's unlikely to produce power "clean" enough for sensitive electronics, however.

Mactracker is overkill for this single use, but it is VERY thorough:
<http://mactracker.ca/faq.html>

The only ones being sold new, now, are the latest (iPad Air, the 5th generation) and the iPad 2. And of course the 2 iPad Mini's.

They both have the same physical screen size; the Air is lighter, thinner, with a narrower bezel, and a "Retina" display. The 2 has the lower-resolution display.

Exactly what I did, until I had need of the hotspot function, when I switched.
When I checked later, I discovered my wife never came anywhere near the next level below unlimited, so we started saving around $120/year or more on that iPhone.

Mine is the model that came out in spring 2012, which I understood at
the time was model 3. Since then I think two more models have come out,
which I would call 4 and 5.

older than mine, or has the numbering system changed?

http://www.apple.com/ipad/compare/ seems to have only the current models.

Looking for a list with all of them, including dates.
