So far there's no economic indicator that an OS X tablet is needed. For that you've got a touch based trackpad input device called a MacBook. Imo. And right now they've said they won't. And they've got enough money to make one. And they probably have. But based upon their case studies and they have enough money to get the best that an OS X based tablet isn't needed or wanted or profitable or any combination thereof. That's just my guess. You can argue that you know better all you want...

And if Apple brought out an OSX iPad next year, everyone here would rave over it, but now they don't, exactly like the larger iPhone. Thats real world
