Actually Tony, you have that round the wrong way.
Most can deal with the subset, some like the geeks on this mailing list, can't.
And before anyone takes it as a personal insult, that is using geeks in the nicest way.
The people n these mailing lists are far from the majority. They try to find ways to get the most out of the hardware they have.
99% of users do not. Thats why iPads sell in such large numbers.
The iPad Pro will be another success, because for 99% of users, it will do everything they want.
But like the iPad when it first came out, it is going to take time for developers to take advantage of the facilities and screen real estate.
Even Apple hasn't figured it out yet. You get the same number of icons as on an iPad Air.

Its made to consume, so please no one tell me its made to produce as TC said. You can, which is your nicheThats why few would ditch the Mac for an iPad. Its a subset, a very nice subset, but thats what it is. Yes, some who browse and email can do very well with the subset, but most can'tAnd if Apple brought out an OSX iPad next year, everyone here would rave over it, but now they don't, exactly like the larger iPhone. Thats real world

If Apple don't deal with that, they are, I think, bound to experience substantial customer leakage over time.I looked at the Surface solution in the Microsoft store the other night. In fact, you could say it "just works".I recently downloaded some files to "Notes" on my iPad as did not have WiFi nor my password for Dropbox. They are, for the most part, zipped files. How can I get them from "Notes" to my PC laptop? Thanks in advance. Rosalyn
