I agree. It would be easier and a more complete solution to free iOS of its restrictions so that its as capable of any task that a Macbook is.
Or they keep it as a tablet OS a subset of a full computer, also good. But cease saying that an iPad can replace a PC for many, and "why get a PC" which is essentially saying its a laptop replacement

So far there's no economic indicator that an OS X tablet is needed. For that you've got a touch based trackpad input device called a MacBook. Imo. And right now they've said they won't. And they've got enough money to make one. And they probably have. But based upon their case studies and they have enough money to get the best that an OS X based tablet isn't needed or wanted or profitable or any combination thereof. That's just my guess. You can argue that you know better all you want...
